Tis the season...


For giving! The Heifer Project

is one of my all time favorite charities. Please take a gander at their website, and consider donating. Last year, when I was teaching Sunday school (YES ME!) we did a Heifer Project fundraiser and raised over 10k!! We purchased two whole "arks". It was an amazing experience for all involved. We were able to have a volunteer visit us from Heifer and really explain to the kids how much of a long term impact the Heifer project has on the communities it helps.

    I love Heifer.og, too! What a wonderful organization!

    I am so impressed that you raised 10K--now that is a HUGE accomplishment. I have a friend who works for Heifer and she just returned from a trip to Africa where she was seeing the HUGE difference that the animals make in the communities there. :)
