idol worship

i can hardly believe i forgot to post about one of the most amazing moments of my entire life! at trinity cathedral this past sunday i listened to THE dr. james lawson give a sermon. he was completely amazing, and i was in complete awe. (he was one of the architects of the civil rights movement, and basically taught mlk jr. about non-violent resistance.) i even took communion from him! i think i was smiling during the whole mass...it is surely something i will never forget. if only there were more people like him on this planet....
if i can get a copy of his sermon, i will post it here, as it was very powerful indeed.

my first migraine

Last nite, after my EFM class (Education for Ministry via the Episcopal Seminary) I came home and watched Bergman's "The Seventh Seal".
(While poor, poor Matt tried in vain for 4 hours to put Sebastian to sleep.)

I have nothing more to say aside from that I hope to never have to play chess with death...as long as I live.

i may dream a million dreams but how can they come true?

if there will never ever be another you....
what i am reading right now:

the gospel q
book of common prayer
paradise lost (i've never read it before! for shame!)
and am going to try to get to a copy of "in cold blood" that a friend of mine zoe lent me....

what i am listening to this very second:
chet baker-let's get lost

what i am wishing for:
a week alone in my studio!

what i am up to tonite:
seeing harry potter with my sister

i've forgotten to bring my knitting with me to work and am now hoping to occupy these idle hands with something worthwhile....i don't think i've even brought a book with me to work today! creezus!
